Diamond Top for Stylus Profiler
If you have stylus profilers for measuring surface roughness or tracing the desired path of materials, our technology is suitable to you.
We will probably create the stylus for the top following your demands.
The measurements always need to be repeatable, reliable and accurate, as you know.
Of course, the measurement quality depends on the hardware’s specifications, on the other hand, stylus, especially the top diamond part, is also a key point at the same time.
As you can see in the left photo, we are able to create that sensitive part by ourselves.
We would say the edge radius will be 2 micron or 5 micron.
Prices are much lower than your current purchasing ones for sure!
Chip-Breakers
This chip breaker has 3 big advantages below.
1. Chip fragmentation:
Long, elongated chips are broken down into smaller pieces to prevent them from getting tangled in or damaging the workpiece.
2. Trouble prevention:
Avoiding machining defects caused by chip clogging.
3. Workplace safely:
Reduces the risk of machine operators being injured by flying debris.
Generally, this kind of tool’s cutting part is made of diamond.
We don’t make this cutting tool itself, however we will do post-processing on this diamond part.
If you give us certain ideas or designs, we will arrange the top part as you wish.
Laser 3D Processing
If you would like to try other ones like Tungsten Carbide or stainless steel, that would be possible, too.
Maximum processing size would be up to 100mm(X) x 100mm(Y).
If you give us CAD data, thing’s going to be done quickly.
Even if you don’t have any data, no worries.
Just give us your ideas and we will make it from the beginning.
Tungsten Carbide Seat Mirror Finishing
Generally those Tungsten Carbide seats are used for base components for metal and non-metal processing molds and reference bases for measuring instruments.
In our case, most customers use those WC seats for diamond anvil cells.
As you can see in the left photo, you know the difference between before and after.
*The taper size of the seat is φ6mm x φ1.5mm x 5mm(t) x 55°(angle)
Even if you require any other sizes, we will do whatever you need.
Various Tungsten Carbide (WC) Products
In comparison with SK or stainless, tungsten carbide (WC) is more expensive and difficult to fabricate.
However, depending on using, it keeps cost low and enable to better product than SK or SUS.
Sometimes we suggest our clients to change their material from others to tungsten carbide.
Many customers have been satisfied that change, so far.
Especially we produce a lot of tungsten carbide drills.

Mirror-Like Finishing
From WC (tungsten carbide), we can process many materials as mirror-like finishing.
Of course, we provide our product with high precision thickness flatness, and parallelism tolerance.
Plus, we can do it for superfine cylindrical pin that is impossible to do by traditional approaches.
DLC Coating
“DLC” stands for Diamond Like Carbon.
It is amorphous conformation and carbon rigid film.
The following four points summarize the most salient features of DLC coating.
1. Abrasion-resistant and low friction
2. Catalyst and anti-adhesion
3. Very thin film thick ness. Average is 1.2 micron meter.
4. If the material has good surface roughness, it has high adhesion.
5. Not good at shock.
6. Difficult to coat on bore diameter (caliber).
