We will exhibit the polymer conference with our local distributor SIMS in Daejeon(대전광역시) in the midwest in South Korea in April. The meeting will be held from Wed. 8th to Fri. 10th. Daejeon is the 5th largest city in Korea.  There are many government agencies and research institutes. You could also see a lot of nature there!

We are planning to display a “Japanese” rotary microtome and several different types of knives.
This microtome is made for cutting hard materials samples and stronger than Leica and RMC microtomes for sure.
If you have any samples that you gave up to cut by microtomes before, you may use ion milling or polishing machines now, we suppose.
On the other hand, sometimes those methods take time to prepare but results are not so good. That is the reality.
If you can cut your samples by microtome, that is easier, faster and wider space you can see. Plus, the microtome doesn’t make heat during the processing.
If you have never seen this Japanese equipment, this event might be a very good opportunity to open your eyes.
Yes, it is possible to cut your own samples on site, if you want. Why don’t you bring it and do it by yourself.
